As you’ve probably guessed, Chocolate Gents, is the all-male counterpart of the Chocolate Chix Organization.
Operated by Head Chairman Michael “Hou” Houston, Chocolate Gents has many noble objectives, but our primary plight is to help BIPOC boys and young men navigate through emotional and environmental adversities and emerge as both powerful and positive forces in society.
Chocolate Gents are urban professionals comprised of men that have successfully navigated through a number of adversities, on and off the field/courts, in and out of the board room and everywhere in between.
SWEATSHIRTS $55
Men Mentoring thru Music (M3) transforms a recording studio into a powerful space for growth and healing. Through music, young men of color (ages 8–18) connect with mentors who guide them toward purpose, discipline, and self-confidence.
Participants earn studio time by achieving milestones in academics, community service, sports, and the arts—building skills that empower them both personally and professionally. Along the way, they gain exposure to careers in technology, finance, media, and leadership, opening doors far beyond the studio walls.
M3’s mentors—known as the Chocolate Gents—are distinguished professionals in fields ranging from engineering to education, business to music, united by a commitment to nurture the next generation of leaders. Together, they provide the guidance, encouragement, and real-world insight every young man deserves.

HUDDLE
Chocolate Gents “Huddle” Sessions are monthly, come-as-you-are gatherings where men of color can lean in, kick back, and have the real conversations they often carry alone. Hosted at rotating venues—from a laid-back man cave to a lively sports bar and everything in between—each Huddle is designed as a hassle-free zone, free from pressure, posturing, or pretense. In this judgment-free space, brothers can speak openly, listen deeply, and be fully themselves, knowing they are surrounded by men who understand, with many navigating the very same challenges in family, work, faith, health, and everyday life.
More than a meeting, the Huddle becomes whatever the men in the room need it to be that month: a sounding board, a strategy session, a healing circle, or simply a place to laugh, vent, recharge, and remember they are not alone.

Manificence
A Coming Together of Men In All Their Glory
Join us as we host our annual Chocolate Gents men’s-only weekend retreat, Manificence. Every October dozens of us get together to recharge as we enjoy gourmet cuisine, lively conversation and healthy competition in a Honey-Don’t, stress-free, laid-back environment. Prepare to be challenged to grow as we simultaneously explore the challenges of faith, families, friendships and more. So grab a few buddies, come as you are and leave forever changed.
